Ramadan Kareem

Ramadan Kareem

We are sharing a message from our queer and trans Muslims friends in the Twin Cities.

Ramadan Kareem! Ramadan is a very communal time of the year and for some of us who don’t have our families around and/or live far away from home and our loved ones, we feel quite lonely around this time. To create a loving and welcoming community space for queer, trans and Muslim identifying Muslims, we have initiated the Inclusive Mosque here in Minneapolis. We will be starting our Inclusive Mosque gatherings for queer, trans and women identifying Muslims starting tomorrow Wednesday May 16th at 8pm (first day of Ramadan) in Minneapolis. The iftar and prayer gatherings will take place every week Tuesdays and Fridays at the same place. Please email us at mncaravanoflove@gmail.com to know more about this initiative and the location.

You can also look us up on social media: MN Caravan of Love. Please note that this is an initiative by Muslims for Muslims. It would be a kind favor if you pass this news to your queer, trans and women identifying Muslim friends.
