In recovery? Just not drinking tonight? AWESOME!  \nWe will have bougie NA beverages galore to sample and sip\, apps\, snacks\, give-aways\, SWAG BAGS\, a super gay DJ aka dance party\, activities\, and MORE!   \nThe best part.. We want to know what YOU want Sober Experiences Awesome to become and which NA beverages are the best solution to helping you feel included\, stay sober\, and feel AWESOME.  Sober Experiences Awesome will be built for the community – by the community.  \nAnd we can’t wait to tell you about the next couple of events that we have in the works! \nSo\, what is Sober Experiences Awesome?! \n​Sober Experiences Awesome is the community and connection for long-term recovery.  Our mission is to create the space and product where queer\, sober adults can foster strong relationships\, explore their identities\, and enjoy alcohol-free beverages and experiences. \nSober cheer and NA beer are our thing.  We believe one of the easiest ways to shift behavioral patterns around drinking is by\, well\, drinking. Drinking alcohol-free drinks that is. And\, that’s why we have beverage solutions (0.0 ABV) that are celebratory at all our events. \nWhile having a beverage solution can help with an immediate recovery need\, community and connection is the icing on the cake. We will host events that are centered around the unique needs of the recovery community and celebrate those who are struggling with feeling awesome. We create a one-of-a-kind experience\, one that you won’t forget. The type of experience that makes you actually want to stay sober. Sober Experiences Awesome welcomes everyone in LGBTQIA+ community\, recovery\, and anyone who’s awesome.

DESCRIPTION:This is a free public event for our water LGBTQIA+ community all are welcome! \nHi Y’all! \nWe are excited to announce our first ever Pride Family and Friends Skate followed by our first Pride Game on Thursday\, June 22\, 2023. \nPlease bring your whole crew including kids! Harvey (aka Stormé) the Narwal will make an appearance for pictures and Shenanigans! \nPride shirts\, stickers\, water bottles\, hats and other TCQHA apparel will be available for purchase. We will provide free stickers\, juice boxes and rainbow cupcakes for the kids AND adults. \nWhen: Thursday\, June 22\, 2023 from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. Please join us after to cheer on our players in a head to head match from 7:45 PM to 8:45 PM. Pop and beer will be served in the parking lot after the game! \nWhere: New Hope Ice Arena\, South Rink\n4949 Louisiana Ave N\nNew Hope\, MN 55428 \nCost: This event is FREE! If you are so inclined in-kind donations are always welcome\, but absolutely not required. All donations help replenish our scholarship fund for LGBTQIA skaters who cannot afford ice time or gear.
