The conference was founded in 1992 by a handful of bi+ activists and has grown into the largest conference centered around non-monosexual identities in the United States. DESCRIPTION:As part of our holistic commitment to keep Austin a welcoming city\, the Human Rights Commission will be hosting Austin’s 2nd Annual Pride Festival on Saturday\, October 7th from 12pm to 8pm at the grassy area in front of the Paramount Theatre (125 4th Avenue NE\, Austin\, MN). This date is in alignment with National Coming Out Day\, which falls the upcoming Wednesday. \nOur main stage entertainment will have Whalen and the Willows\, Ladies of the 80’s\, Prairie Clamor\, Roxi and the Bb Boys\, and local Drag Artists! With our very own Roxi Manacoochi as our host and joining her will be Mike and Jessica Provancha\, our ASL Interpreters. We will be having resources provided by Riverland Community College\,  Planned Parenthood with their Teen Council tent\, OutFront Minnesota\, Hope for the Day\, The Trevor Project\, Fernbrook Family Center\, Gender Sexuality Alliance Rochester – UMR\, and many more! We also have local vendors selling goods such as jewelry\, plants\, personal accessories\, and home decor. We have  a variety of food trucks such as La Borinqua Puerto Rican Food\, Erin’s Street Bistro\, Nel’s Diner\, Cookie Dough Bliss\, and InfuznFoods to name some. DESCRIPTION:Together is a mixed media art exhibition featuring artwork from ten Minnesota artist families of diverse ages and family structures who have created individual and communal work for the exhibition. Shay\, will keep us rockin’ from 7-10!\n\nClean out your closets and bring clothes\, books\, plants\, jewelry\, etc. for our give-and-take sharing table. What you are ready to give away becomes what another woman receives. Here are some ideas: LGBTQ related or other books\, household decor\, house plants\, seeds\, jewelry\, clothes and shoes in decent condition.\n\nSelf employed women\, bring your business cards for the community resources table. If you volunteer with an LGBTQ non-profit\, bring a flyer for the table to promote LGBTQ community events.  Help spread the word about our community resources!\n\nTreat yourself to a chair massage by Jody! You can pay her directly for the amount of time that you want. Keep it to about 10-15 minutes so more women get a turn!\n\nThere’s a $10 cash cover at the door. We are in the big ballroom at the Mpls.
