DESCRIPTION:Celebrate 50 Years with Minnesota’s oldest Queer Feminist Chorus this spring. Calliope Women’s Chorus has been around since 1976 as the second-oldest feminist treble choir in the country and the oldest group in the Twin Cities’ Queer Music Consortium.For 50 years\, we have been helping marginalized voices be heard and amplifying messages of social justice while providing a welcoming environment for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies to make music together. This spring we’re celebrating Gender\, Friendship\, and Legacy throughout our run as a choir. We’ve grown and changed so much over the years and we’d love to have you with us.

DESCRIPTION:Pride is year round- but Pride SKATE is Friday\, June 12th!This year\, my co-host is the wonderful and amazing Zetovii- who is not only an amazing performance artist and roller skater\, but an avid advocate for community and equality.We will have DJ Shannon Blowtorch on the tunes\, and you know that’s always a good time!\nEvent is 8pm-11pm / 18+ / $15 / $5 rental skates or inlines.(If finances are a barrier\, please DM Angela)As always\, we will have queer vendors selling art and wearable goods\, a photobooth to capture your outfits\, and queer community-oriented informational tables.Please fill out an application form on my website hazmatcircus.com if you’d like to vend!Whistles and passport applications will also be available.\nParking is attached and FREE (yay!) and the building is mobility aid accessible (two ramps on the sidewalk\, and no stairs or thresholds in the building). Venue is all low-pile commercial carpet\, excluding the skate floor and restrooms. DESCRIPTION:About This Event\nJoin Maria (Four Season Foraging)\, Tanner (Tanner Barnharst) and Haleigh (Wide Eyed Outside) and Ash O’Neill for Nature Gays in the Woods during Pride Month! This event welcomes and centers people who identify as LGBTQIA+\, plus their friends and family members. \nTuesday\, June 16th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Mni Owe Sni / Coldwater Spring. \nWe’ll enjoy wandering around the park informally\, learning about edible plants\, mushrooms\, lichens\, animal tracks and more! \nAccessibility info: This event will be held on and off trail and will involve bushwhacking\, going up and down hills\, and walking over logs and other obstacles. Total distance traveled will be about 2 miles. \nThis event will be cancelled for severe weather\, but the show will still go on for rain. \nAn email will be sent out about a week before the class with additional details\, including the exact meeting location! \nRegistration\nPlease pre-register using this Google Form.
