DESCRIPTION:Telling Queer History centers stories from our LGBTQ+ community so our history is recorded and heard while holding space for attendees to connect to each other to foster empathy\, healing\, and compassion.\nWe are celebrating 10 years of connecting LGBTQ+ folks through storytelling and community-building gatherings!\nThis June\, we’ll gather to celebrate and affirm our legacy\, honoring the over 100 storytellers we have featured and building the resources for another 100. Please join us and invite your friends and networks! Everyone has history and a future. Your story is part of Telling Queer History.\nAt this fabulous party\, we will have live storytelling\, a legacy ideation station\, intergenerational story pods\, delicious food\, an online auction\, a surprise reveal\, and a dance party. We are so excited to celebrate with you!\nWe will be live-streaming the event for our supporters and friends who can’t join this gathering in-person.\nASL interpreted\, substance free event\, family friendly (intergenerational) with childcare provided. Kids under 12 attend for free.
