End Times Theater Company is so excited to present the American Premier of Insane Animals, by Liv Morris and George Heyworth (Bourgeois and Maurice), coming this June for Minneapolis Pride.
Two time-traveling aliens have landed on earth to save humanity from the brink of collapse. What follows is a chaotic and super queer retelling of the ancient Epic of Gilgamesh, featuring a campy pop-rock score. In this fable of mythic proportions, the aliens pose as gods and coerce the tyrannical King Gilgamesh to embark on a quest to defeat death. The trio’s messy time traveling endeavors take them to the future where the horrifying yet mesmerizing transhumanist movement forces them to beg the question: is immortality really all it’s cracked up to be?
Performances: June 25th, 26th, 27th at 7pm; June 28th at 6pm
