MN LGBTQ+ Organization of the Year Award
This award honors leading LGBTQ+ community groups and organizations in recognition of their outstanding contributions in support of our community.
Nominations are open to:
Nonprofit or charity organizations operating in the Twin Cities LGBTQ+ community
The selection criteria are:
- Commitment to create a safe and inclusive atmosphere of equality, acceptance and support for the Twin Cities LGBTQ+ community
- Contributes to the Twin Cities LGBTQ+ community with ongoing initiatives
- Promotes Equality, Inclusion and Diversity
- Provides superior service
- Leadership and Vision

Twin Cities Pride Legacy Person of the Year Award
This award is given in recognition of the outstanding contributions of a lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, or queer person who has a long-standing history of significantly improving the quality of life in the Twin Cities LGBTQ+ community.
The award recognizes a person for their efforts to advocate for a diverse and inclusive community and make steps to eliminating discrimination and homophobia for the community and region.
Nominations are open to:
- LGBTQ+ Persons 45 and over
- Resides in Twin Cities
The selection criteria are:
- Commitment to create a safe and inclusive atmosphere of equality, acceptance and support for the LGBTQ+ communities
- Significant contribution to advance acceptance and support for the LGBTQ+ community
- Leadership and Vision
- Volunteer work and advocacy

QTPOC Leader of the Year Award
This award is given in recognition of the outstanding QTPOC Leader to honor exceptional leadership, service to the community, and those who champion LGBTQ causes that impact the Twin Cities community and beyond.
Nominations are open to:
- Queer and Trans BIPOC Leaders aged 18+
- Resides in Twin Cities or surrounding region
The selection criteria:
- Commitment to create a safe and inclusive atmosphere of equality, acceptance and support for the QTPOC communities
- Volunteer work
- Community Involvement

Twin Cities Pride Young Person of the Year Award
This award is given in recognition of the outstanding youth who improve the lives and visibility of LGBTQ+ community, particularly for the LGBTQ+ youth.
The award recognizes the youth’s efforts and the contributions they have made to their communities, in their homes, schools, athletic or academic teams, or other social groups.
This youth is a leader of today who shows a promise for the future, is out, and have made a difference by overcoming obstacles in their own lives, or by working on projects that have benefited their community.
Nominations are open to:
- LGBTQ+ youth aged 12 – 24
*Note: Parents must sign a consent form for youth under the age of 18 - Resides in Twin Cities or surrounding region
The selection criteria:
- Commitment to create a safe and inclusive atmosphere of equality, acceptance and support for the LGBTQ+ communities
- Volunteer work

MN Corporate Champion Award (Chosen internally)
This award recognizes a Minnesota based company that is walking the walk when it comes to being a corporate ally to the community.
Twin Cities Pride Volunteer of the Year Award (Chosen Internally)
This award recognizes an outstanding volunteer whose work has enriched the Twin Cities Pride organization.
