To everyone who showed up for our Rainbow Run this year, stood with us through the torrential downpour, waited patiently during the weather delay, and still crossed the finish line—you made this year’s Rainbow Run one we’ll never forget. Watching so many of you not only complete the race but also stay to cheer on your fellow runners despite the challenging conditions was incredibly inspiring. Your patience, positivity, and community spirit embodied exactly what this event is all about, and we are deeply grateful.

Get ready to dash through the rainbow at the 2026 Twin Cities Pride Rainbow Run 5k & Kid’s Rainbow Dash! Join us for an electric run down Hennepin Avenue and feel the energy as parade spectators cheer you on, or participate virtually from wherever you are!

5K: Start at BF Nelson Park, running down the parade route to finish at MCTC
Rainbow Dash: Two blocks on Hennepin from 11th to Spruce

- You can park at one of the hooded meters on 12th
Shakeout Run
- Monday June 22nd 6pm

- Those attending the Shakeout Run can pickup their bib and t-shirt early!
Transportation
Free shuttle service between the beginning and end of the race is provided.
Parking
If you plan to park at the finish line and take the shuttle we recommend parking in the MCTC Parking Ramp. The Entrance to the ramp is on 16th.
If you plan to park at the starting line, there is neighborhood parking all around BF Nelson Park that is a short walk to the start. If you are planning to take the shuttle back to the start line after the race you will need to catch the 9:45am shuttle that will leave from 16th and Hennepin. This will be the only shuttle going back to the starting line.
Friends and family are welcome to come to the race, bring a motivational sign, and watch and cheer on participants! The race is along the parade route before our parade.
