In 2023, Cara filmed her first one-hour comedy special at the El Portal Theater in Los Angeles with Comedy Dynamics, made her Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut at the Pleasance Courtyard, and released her stand-up album, Straight for Pay, which was named one of Paste Magazine’s best comedy albums of 2023.
