All-Women/Non-Binary Cast, Bold Adaptation Opens Friday the 13th at the Center for the Performing Arts
Prepare for a Macbeth unlike any you’ve seen before. Rough Magic Performance Company proudly presents an original, immersive adaptation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Directed by Heidi Batz Rogers, adapted by Catherine Justice, and with a cast of 5 women performers, The Macbeths highlights the themes of trauma, loss, and unfettered ambition through a feminist lens. Plus witches! The production runs June 13–29, 2025, at the Center for the Performing Arts, with an opening night on Friday the 13th, promising an extra-spooky launch to the show’s limited run.
