BiblioFemmes Book Club

April 24 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Details

Please read “Yerba Buena” by Nina Lacour in preparation for this meeting.

There will be someone to facilitate the meeting, but we invite everyone who attends to come up with at least one question, comment, or just a favorite passage that they want to talk about during book club.

You are not required to finish the book to attend, but you are required to be okay with spoilers if you don’t finish.

Meetup caps attendance at 10 people, but we can accommodate more.

When RSVPing, please comment with your intention to come if the event is currently listed as full.

If we approach venue capacity we will close RSVPs.

Quatrefoil opens right at 7, so we’ll aim to start the meeting closer to 7:15 to give folks time to settle in.

There is a small parking lot in the back of the building that is open to patrons as space is available. Food and drink are allowed, so feel free to bring something for yourself or to share!

BiblioFemmes is a group of queer femmes who love books. We have a monthly book club at Quatrefoil and other events throughout the month, including pottery making, game nights, social hours, and more. We meet regularly with the express intention of creating a community, so if you are looking for a book club AND some new friends, we might be the right fit for you.

Everyone who describes themselves as a femme (small doses count) and who has done the reading is welcome to attend a book club (RSVPs appreciated but not required). If you are interested in the group, but want to meet without homework, please reach out to the email address listed below and we’ll add you to our Discord server and mailing list.
