Bob’s Choice: An LGBTQ+ Advocate’s Death with Dignity Journey

June 14, 2022 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

Join us at the First Unitarian Society of Minneapolis for a screening of “Bob’s Choice,” an independent documentary featuring Bob Fuller, an LGBTQ activist and founding member of the Seattle Men’s Chorus living with terminal cancer. In 2017, Bob opted to use Washington’s Death with Dignity law and invited filmmakers to document his final days as he celebrated a life well lived.

A panel, including Minnesota State Sen. Scott Dibble, Rev. Dr. David Breeden, senior minister at First Unitarian Society, and advocate Carrie Framsted whose wife, Monica, died without the option of a peaceful death, will discuss the End-of-Life Option Act and why this bill is important to Minnesotans. This event will be both in-person and live streamed.
