Break the Cycle

June 7 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

We’re coming together to raise awareness and funds to break the cycle of domestic violence, all while getting active as a community!

Kick off Pride Month with us! What better way to gear up for the celebrations than squeezing into some spandex and tightening those glutes? Let’s ride for LGBTQIA2S+ rights and for a safer, more inclusive world. At Women’s Advocates, we proudly serve everyone, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, or background, who has experienced domestic violence or needs support to break the cycle. We’re committed to creating safety, healing, and freedom for all survivor-survivors. This Pride Month, we’re teaming up with our amazing community partners to advocate together, amplify LGBTQIA2S+ voices, and build a world where everyone can live free from violence and discrimination. Join the ride, show your support, and let’s pedal toward equity and inclusion!

  • When: Sunday June 7th
  • Where: Theodore Wirth Trailhead, Minneapolis
  • Registration is Pay What You’re Able – Every dollar goes toward supporting WA, with suggested amounts of $30 (standard), $15 (reduced), $45 Pay It Forward (to sponsor another rider/community member), or $0 (free if you need it).

Ride with us to raise awareness about domestic violence, enjoy the outdoors, and connect with community partners. After the ride, stick around for a festival packed with family-friendly activities, music, and more!

Choose from routes for all levels, whether you’re a dedicated cyclist or a family looking for a fun, scenic ride. With three unique tour routes designed for all ages and abilities, there’s a ride for everyone. Local high school cycling teams and volunteers will join us as route leaders, riding alongside families and community members to showcase the power of youth and community in advocacy, because breaking the cycle takes all of us.
