Family Tree Clinic is offering a full day workshop on March 22nd called LiFT-Linking Families & Teens. This evidence-based program strengthens parent-teen connectedness and builds skills for parents and teens to have “tough talks” with each other, which is shown to improve teens’ sexual, physical, emotional and mental health. LiFT is designed for youth (13-19) and one or more adult(s) who could be a parent, guardian, relative or caregiver. We will be centering the experiences of gender expansive and LGBTQIA teens, but LiFT is open to all teens and families.
This workshop is free, including breakfast, hot catered lunch, childcare and goodie bags for participants. Registration is required.
