MN Queer History Exhibit – We Live On: Stories of Radical Connection

June 9 @ 8:00 am - June 22 @ 8:00 pm

We Live On: Stories of Radical Connection invites you into how queer people around the state have fostered community and connection over time. Learn about queer communities across Minnesota history with stories of Two Spirit and Indigequeer, intersex, and incarcerated queer and trans folks, HIV/AIDS history, sex work, and more. Interact with historically-contextualized archival video, audio, story transcripts, letters, art, poems, an ancestral altar, and queer ephemera as you explore Telling Queer History’s 12 years of community-based work.

This exhibit has traveled to four locations around Greater Minnesota and is now returning to the Twin Cities for its fifth & final run at Queermunity. Tickets are sold out for the TQH sunset celebration and exhibit launch on June 8th, but you can still view the exhibit for free from June 9th to 22nd, 8 am to 8 pm daily.

Telling Queer History is a Twin Cities non-profit organization that has been hosting storytelling gatherings connecting 2SLGBTQIA+ people across generations and identities for over a decade. Our organization is coming to a close at the end of June 2025.
