Protest Lines explores the role of music as a form of resistance and a testament to human resilience. Audiences will experience a dynamic blend of historical and contemporary protest songs that have galvanized movements and uplifted communities. Beyond performance, Protest Lines functions as a community sing-in: the chorus will teach audience members several protest songs in real time, transforming passive listening into active participation and equipping attendees with music to bring to the streets, their community and civic actions.
