Minnesota People of Color Pride (MNPOC Pride) will host its annual five-day 2026 Festival from August 12–16, 2026, bringing together LGBTQ+ people of color, allies, families, artists, and community partners from across Minnesota and the Upper Midwest.
Founded in 1999 and in good standing with the State of Minnesota, MNPOC Pride has served the community for over 25 years by creating culturally grounded, affirming spaces centered on connection, visibility, wellness, and leadership.
The 2026 Festival is a multi-day community celebration designed to:
Increase visibility of LGBTQ+ communities of color
Provide safe, alcohol-responsible, family-inclusive gathering spaces
Connect attendees to culturally relevant health, housing, workforce, and social services
Elevate local Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, and multicultural artists and performers
Support LGBTQ+-owned and allied small businesses through vendor opportunities
Each day of the festival has a distinct focus while contributing to an overall goal of strengthening community resilience and pride.
